I’ve been doing more trials with home cut stencils, inky layers and poppies. I guess the main thing I have in mind as I try these out, is getting my hand and head really familiar with the poppy images I want to use so they become my own, instinctive, art language.

About Cath Sheard
Hi, my name is Cath Sheard. I'm a library manager, and have an Advanced Diploma of Arts & Creativity (Honours). My husband Tony is retired. Together we publish a community newspaper. We have no children together, but have plenty of "fur kids". It's a good life...
Glad to see you are still playing. Looking forward to your next statement in this series.
Hi Cath,
I like your poppy work very much. Very playful in it’s looseness.
Catching up here, (not blogging much) I was saddened to read of your Mum.
Lost my Dad early January, so I share your loss. Hooray for Tony’s retirement,,
may it serve you both well.
I sure hope your hand is behaving; not fun, that!
