of the rocks – amazing. I’d love to paint this at some stage. Getting the shot was enough for now. If you look hard enough, there’s a shag resting on the rocks too.
But at least the art was done. Playing with small scale oil paintings inspired by the local landscape. For some reason the photos I took of this one did not turn out very sharp – sorry about that.
In early December I stopped and took quite a few photos of some seagulls at Paramata near Wellington. When I got the photos back the other day I was quite pleased. I particularly like this wee guy.
I’ve been trying to get the hang of using the macro lens with my camera. I think I am finally getting there. This was taken on our “weed-free” back lawn, with me sprawled on the grass waving the camera around, much to the dog’s amusement 😉
