Making Signatures

Every year I enter Erika Husselmann’s Signature Exchange; it’s a fun event and I love seeing the package of signatures turn up in the mail. This year I decided to make a second set and have spent the day collaging with Gelli Prints on tissue, most of which were made with Stencil Girl stencils, stencilling with more Stencil Girl stencils and adding a word to each cover with, yes you guessed right, a Stencil Girl Stencil!

For the covers where I stencilled instead of collaged, I kept to a limited range of colours and used Titan Buff to tie them together, and used Archival Ink in black for the words. These will be heading off in the post tomorrow. Thanks for organising the event Erika; you rock! Here’s a mall sample of what I have been doing, and a photo of them in progress; on the insides I added small bits of stencilling or matching collaged tissue paper scraps to activate the pages.
